Vienna, Helsinki, London, Paris – what a beautiful whirlwind of tea shops, historic landmarks, inspiring museums and the finest beauty boutiques and department stores in Europe. This trip was, for me, an indulgence in so many things I love: modern art, priceless antiques, new and old friends, fine foods, Parisian tea, and, of course, natural and nontoxic beauty. I got the chance to visit for the first time some of our newest and most exciting European retailers, while re-connecting with stores we’ve had long friendships with. Above all, it was so thrilling to experience the enthusiasm for 100% natural and healthy skincare everywhere we went, from country to country. It was an inspiring reminder that this health-conscious lifestyle movement that we’re a part of is really a global phenomenon – and for this quick trip, it was so exciting to be right in the thick of it!
Here are some highlights of my trip that I want to share with you – I’d highly recommend each of these places if you’re ever in Europe!
The best way to see a new city? By Rollercoaster! This thing was SO old and rickety – it was terrifying but super fun!
We were so happy to stumble on this fresh fruit stand in Helsinki. What beautiful old streets!
Having some “Breggi”( Brunch) in Finland
This neat chair reminded me of my bed frame at home, which is made in a similar fashion by Amish craftsmen; such a coincidence to find its cousin here in Helsinki!
Natural Cosmetic Beauty in Vienna – we had such a great time here!
Natural Cosmetic Beauty had this amazing living wall as part of their store, which gave the place such a unique natural feel. Here I am with the editor of Woman Magazine!
Look who we stumbled into in Vienna! (Everyone looks like Mozart around here!)
What a highlight; lunch with Caroline Hirons in London!
Taking a moment to pause at the flower stand at Harrod’s in London.
High Tea at Harrod’s – we had to do it! 😉
The English Conservatory at Blake’s Hotel blew me away. Look at those hanging florals! Such an inspiration for DIY projects at home.
I absolutely fell in love with Sketch in London – everything about it is so charming, feminine, artistic and unexpected. Definitely worth a visit!
Enjoying dinner with friends at La Gazette in Paris
Here we are, in heaven! Le Bon Marche Beauty Department – so much fun.
Grabbing a quick sip with old friends in Cafe Flore in Paris!
What an experience! I was so grateful to head back home on a plane to my little ones in Vermont, but I must say that traveling endlessly inspires me and fills me with so many ideas, for beauty products, art projects and future family trips.
