Introducing what could very well be the most characteristic product to ever come out of the Champlain Valley of Vermont, our Limited-Edition Honey Blossom Resurfacing Mask.
Have you ever been to Vermont in the summertime? Our company headquarters, which houses every department of our company including the batching of products in our Open Lab, is situated upon 1,200 rolling, vibrant green acres of land. During this season, the land looks like it’s been confetti’d with dandelions and dry, fragrant-floral breezes will sweep through the office as if to remind you that you just so happen to be working in one of the most picturesque settings that you could ever imagine. Summer’s here… it feels like Mother Earth is throwing herself a birthday party.
It’s easy to get inspired in Vermont, so when Tata dreamed up the idea of creating an exclusive release of our Award Winning Resurfacing Mask (inspired by her familial tradition of doing raw honey masks with her grandmother as a child) that encapsulated our verdant setting in a jar, well… the idea, needless to say, got pollinated very quickly. That’s because there is a distinct sweetness about this time of the year, so we loved the notion that we could share the powerful benefits of a local ingredient that delivers superior results along with the distinct seasonal variations of our idyllic backdrop.
Enter Tata Harper Skincare. No, really, (motions to you) come inside. I’m going to walk you through parts of our office to take you on a tour to see the stages of your honey mask come together.
Step inside the main entrance where you’re greeted on the left and the right by thousands (yes thousands) of empty green boxes, bottles and jars just waiting to be filled with fresh formulas. When a project is unanimously “green-lit” for creation, one of the first things that happens designing and ordering packaging. There’s only 1,500 boxes for our new Mask because Tata wanted to create something totally unique. In fact, each box is hand-numbered! And since no two summers in Vermont are alike, the box was designed to evoke the regal boysenberry color of this summer’s wild blossoms and blazing sunsets. Each Honey Blossom Resurfacing Mask comes with a limited-edition authenticity card to celebrate this mask’s place in time.
Keep walking down the hall. Ok, here to the right is our Open Lab! Literally, just a few days ago they were batching our Honey Mask – you’d be hard pressed to find a mask as fresh and pure as this one. Amanda, John and Joe are the team behind the formulation of your Mask. Before they even step foot in the lab to formulate and batch, this team is busy for weeks sourcing organic, natural ingredients and botanicals from some of the most lush destinations around the world. This mask, however, includes raw, unpasteurized Vermont honey, harvested from one of the most environmentally responsible apiaries in the region.
You can see some of the bees themselves below – a happy, healthy colony feasting on our fields’ abundant supply of wildflowers.
I could carry on about how walking through the Open Lab could feel like winning a golden Wonka ticket for the true beauty buff (I see you – it takes one to know one) but I suggest that you watch the video below to see for yourself and discover more about the harvesting of our unpasteurized, raw honey inside.
Finally I’ll take you to the fill room where your mask gets filled, sealed and boxed before it finally ships out from our Customer Care Team (led by the lovely Taylor and Patrick). One-of-a-kind custom embossed seals mark the final step of completion and sweet success of what has been one of our favorite exclusive releases to create at Tata Harper. I hope you enjoyed this little Open Lab tour. If you have any questions about our new Honey Mask, be sure to give our Customer Care a call or reach out on Facebook.
